Worldwide Birder

My Story

About Connor

I began to develop an interest in birds at the age of 13. I’ve always loved animals, but I hadn’t paid much attention to birds before this point in my life. However, my interest in birds was piqued when I got my first camera and began to notice the remarkable diversity of these creatures. I became a birder in earnest and I’ve not looked back since.

My love for birds has given me opportunities to observe birds while working for government entities, private firms, and public universities. From monitoring woodpeckers in an Oregon national forest to flying in helicopters to survey prairie chickens, I have been fortunate to work a wide array of positions that have given me a unique perspective on birds.

I’ve observed more than 500 bird species on my adventures, and I am always seeking opportunities to add a new bird to my life list.

I created Worldwide Birder to share what I’ve learned while striving to help others form connections with birds. Moreover, I’m seeking to create a global community of bird lovers who come together virtually to connect over a shared interest in birds. Interested in joining The Flock? I’d love to welcome you to this budding community of birders, so please check it out if you would like to join this community of birders.

Thank you for stopping by, and welcome to worldwidebirder.com!
